Texas Business reports: A Maryland firm won a $162 million contract to support bomber training at two Texas Air Force bases, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

AAI Corp., Hunt Valley, Md., received a $162,400,000 firm-fixed-price (75 percent of contract value), fixed-price incentive firm (20 percent of contract value), and cost reimbursable (5 percent of contract value) for logistics support and concurrency modification support for the B-1 Training System. 

The B-1B Training System consists of an Aircrew Training System component and Maintenance Training System, which support initial, continuation, and re-qualification training of B-1B aircrews and maintainers. 

The locations of the performances are Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., and Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. 

Work is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2018. 

ASC/WNSK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, handled the contract.
