Satellite of Love to be shot in Austin.

Texas Business reports:  An independent feature is hiring crew positions, according to the Texas Film Commission.

“Satellite of Love,”  to be shot in Austin for 14 days in June, currently is taking resumes for various crew positions.

Satellite of Love is an independent feature film written by Jonathan Case and Will Moore and focuses on the lives of two best friends and the woman between them.

A film crew is a group of people hired by a production company for the purpose of producing a film or motion picture. The crew members are distinguished from cast, the actors who appear in front of the camera or provide voices for characters in the film.

The crew members are also separate from producers, those who own a portion of either the film company or the film's intellectual property rights. A film crew is divided into different sectors, each of which specializes in a specific aspect of the production.

The project, an independent HD feature, is being produced by Bandwagon Films. The start date currently is scheduled for June 14, 2011.  The producers are Scott Honea and Bobby McDonald.

The director is Will Moore.
