15 Texas Firms Win $20 Million National Guard Construction Contract


Texas Business reports:  Fifteen Texas firms will share a $20 million contract for National Guard projects, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

ALS 88-Amigo JV of Natalia, CPME LLC dba Teran Construction Co. of El Paso, DLP Group Inc. of Corpus Christi, Escamilla/Basecom Construction of Fort Worth, Healthy Resources Enterprise Inc., dba HREI of Houston, HJD Capital Electric Inc. of San Antonio, Jamco Group III LLC of San Antonio, Leetex Construction LLC of Dallas, Mirador Enterprises Inc. of El Paso, SMR Construction Inc. of Richardson, Streeter Construction Group LLC of Desoto, Triune Beck JV IV of Dallas, Unity Contractor Service Inc. of Austin, W.A. Robbins Construction Co. Inc. of Houston and W.B. Construction and Sons Inc. of Beaumont received a $20,000,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award-task-order contract.

The award will provide for the construction projects of various size and value for the National Guard in the state of Texas. 

Work will be performed at various military installations across Texas, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 21, 2011. 

The bid was solicited through the internet with 22 bids received.  The National Guard Bureau of Austin handled the contract.
