Alaska Firm Wins $10.3 Million Fort Hood Contract

Texas Business reports:  An Alaskan firm won a $10.3 million contract to do range support at Fort Hood, Texas, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Katmai Information Technologies LLC of Anchorage, Alaska, received a $10,331,238 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. 

The award will provide for the range-operation services and maintenance. 

Work will be performed in Killeen, Texas, with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2013.

The bid was solicited through the internet, with nine bids received.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Fort Hood, Texas, handled the contract.
