Amarillo Firm Wins $37.5 Million Military Aircraft Repair Order

Texas Business reports:  An Amarillo firm won a $37.5 million order for military aircraft repair.

Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo Texas, received a $37,582,267 for delivery order under previously awarded cost- plus-fixed-fee contract for the repair of various components for the V-22 aircraft. 

Work will be performed in Roanoke, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2013.

The Navy Working Capital Funds being used will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. 

This contract was not competitively procured. 

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania handled the contract.
