Arizona Firm Wins $31 Million To Overhaul Helicopter Engines In Corpus Christi

Texas Business reports:  An Arizona firm won a $31 million contract to overhaul engines in Corpus Christi, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. 

Honeywell International Inc., of Tempe received a $31,802,672 firm-fixed-price contract.

The award will provide for the technical, engineering, and logistics services and supplies supporting the overhaul and repair of the T55 family of engines.

Work will be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2015.

One bid was solicited, with one bid received.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aviation and Missile Contracting Center, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama handled the contract.
