Arlington's L-3 Wins $8.9 Million Military Contract

Texas Business reports: An Arlington firm won an $8.9 million contract change for military training center support, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

L-3 Communications Corp., Link Simulation and Training, Arlington, Texas, received an $8,965,481 firm-fixed-price contract modification for integrated test bed and spares to accompany Military Training Center Number Eight teardown and site installation. 

The location of the performance will be L-3 Communications, Link Simulation and Training, Arlington, Texas (65 percent), and The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo. (35 percent). 

Work is to be completed by Nov. 29, 2013. 

AFLCMC/WNSK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, handled the contract.
