Texas Business reports: An Austin firm won a $26.3 million contract to support military air defense systems, the  U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems of Austin, Texas, received a $26,394.129.19 requirements contract for logistics support services to sustain the Joint Air Defense System Integrator. 

The Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) system is composed of a number of software and hardware modules—each addressing the specialized and varied needs of the real-time tactical decision maker. Delivered on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) hardware, the ADSI software modules draw from a  configuration-managed baseline.

The location of the performance is Austin, Texas. 

Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 27, 2017. 

The contract was handled by AFLCMC/WNYCA, Robins Air Force Base, Ga.
