Texas Business reports:  An Austin firm won a $24.3 million contract to support cloud computing for the military, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.

Potomac Fusion Inc. of Austin, Texas, received a $24,327,267 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. 

The award will provide for the research and development services in support of analytic/fusion architectures utilizing cloud computing. 

Work will be performed in Austin, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 26, 2014.

One bid was solicited, with one bid received. 

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., handled the contract.
