Best Texas Burgers
Best Texas Burgers | Texas Burgers, Burgers, hamburger, Best hamburger, Best burger, food, best food, Texas food,

Yes, two of the hamburgers on the short list are made in Waco.  Waco has a long culture of dozens of gentle, hobbit-like hamburger makers who focus on the zen of hamburgers.

And remember what Mark Twain said:  "Sacred cows make the best burgers."

1)      No. 2, Hickory Sauce and Onion of Uncle Dan’s Bar-B-Que of Waco.  (If you cut the onions, add cheese,  congratulations. You have joined a hamburger cult).

2)      Lip Locker of Kitok’s of Waco.  (Yes, this is a Korean restaurant.  Don’t worry.)

3)      Somethin’s Brewing, Clifton.  (You must call ahead to make sure hamburgers are on the menu for that day.)

4)      Hut’s Hamburger’s of Austin.  Of course.

5)       The Texas Burger served by the The Crafthouse Gastropub of Lubbock. This establishment at 3131 34th Street makes everything from scratch. Including the mustard. More than worth a trip.
