Brookshire Firm Wins $19.1 Million Bomber Parts Contract

Texas Business reports: A Brookshire firm won a $19.1 million contract to provide parts for a 1960s-era bomber, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Thomas Instrument Inc. of Brookshire, won a $19,116,963 firm-fixed-price, one-year basic, four one-year options contract to procure 862 overhaul/remanufacture electro-mechanical actuators; five mechanical transmissions; and five support assemblies for B-1B aircraft. 

The location of the performance is Boerne, Texas. 

Work is to be accomplished by May 17, 2017. 

848 SCMG/PKBB, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma handled the contract.
