Dallas Firm Wins $10.2 Million Contract Change For Eyeglass Case Contract

Texas Business reports:  A Dallas firm won a $10.2 million contract change to supply eyeglass cases to the military and federal agencies, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.

Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind, Dallas, received a modification exercising the fourth option year on the current contract.

Award is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/quantity contract with a maximum $10,240,000 for spectacle cases.

There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.

The date of performance completion is Sept. 30, 2012.

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania handled the contract.
