Dallas Firm Wins $15.9 Million Navy Contract Change

Texas Business reports:  A Dallas firm won a $15.9 million contract change for support at Navy facility in the Indian Ocean, the U.S. Department of Defense.

DG21 LLC of Dallas received a $15,962,952 firm-fixed-price,  indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity modification to previously awarded contract for all management, labor, administration, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment to provide integrated base operating services at the U.S. Navy Support Facility, Diego Garcia, in support of its mission in the British Indian Ocean Territory. 

This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the total value of the contract to $446,336,532.

Work will be performed in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory, and expected to be completed in November 2012. 

Contract funds of $7,093,424 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year, and $2,850,681 is subject to the availability of funds for the next fiscal year. 

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, handled the contract.
