Texas Business reports: Dana A. Drago joined Comerica Bank as executive vice president, National Retail Bank Director, the company announced.
Drago is responsible for managing Comerica's network of 444 banking centers in Texas, Arizona, California, Florida and Michigan, as well as its customer contact centers.
She is a member of the Retail Bank and Wealth Management Executive Leadership team, reporting to Curtis C. Farmer, executive vice president, The Retail Bank and Wealth & Institutional Management.
Drago joins Comerica with 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as senior vice president in the Middle Market Commercial Insurance area of Liberty Mutual Insurance in Boston, Mass.
Prior to that, she held a series of progressive assignments at Bank of America, Hartford Financial Services Group and Citizens Financial Group where she led large groups of employees in successfully achieving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction goals. While at Bank of America, she spent many years leading banking centers in various markets including Northern and Southern California and later, North Carolina, South Carolina and Southern Virginia. She also was named President of the Small Business segment in Charlotte, N.C., and served on the bank's operating committee.
Drago holds a Bachelor of Business Administration & Finance degree from the University of Mississippi. She also is a graduate of the University of Virginia CBA Graduate School of Retail Banking. She is an active member of the community, serving in leadership positions with the American Heart Association, the March of Dimes and the United Way, as well as on various hospital boards. She is also a past recipient of the Charlotte Business Journal's "Charlotte Women in Business" Achievement Award.
