Deer Park Firm Wins $1.3 Billion DOD Fuel Contract

 Texas Business reports:  A Deer Park-based firm won a $1.3 billion military contract for fuel, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Equilon Enterprises dba Shell Oil Products of Deer Park, Texas, received the contract.

The award is a fixed price with economic price adjustment, indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract with a maximum $1,358,320,754 for fuel.

Other location of performance is in Deer Park, Texas. 

Using service is Defense Logistics Agency Energy. 

There were twenty-seven responses to the Web solicitation. 

Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds.  

The date of performance completion is Sept. 30, 2013.
