El Paso’s Lechmotoren Wins $32 Million Weapon Component Repair Contract


Texas Business reports: An El Paso firm won a $32.1 million weapon component repair contract, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Lechmotoren US of El Paso, Texas, received a $32,171,403 firm-fixed-price contract. 

The award will provide for the repair services in support of the Electrical Power Plant -- Third Edition for the Patriot. 

Work location will be determined with each task order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 29, 2017. 

One bid was solicited, with one bid received. 

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Chambersburg, Pa., handled the contract.
