Five Wichita Falls Firms Share $81 Million Military Contract

 Texas Business reports:  Five Wichita Falls firms will share an $81 million contract to provide construction services to the U.S. Air Force,  the U.S. Department of  Defense announced.          

B.W. Strayhorn Co. Inc., Chavez Contracting, Inc., Choctaw Contractors, Inc., Cothran Construction  and Marvin Groves Electric Co. Inc., all of Wichita Falls, Texas, are each being awarded a contract modification firm fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts to provide construction services. 

The maximum contract value for the total program is $81,400.000. 

The locations of the performance are Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas; Altus Air Force Base, Okla., and annexes at Lake Texoma, Texas. 

Work is expected to be completed by March 27, 2013. 

The contract was handled by the 82nd CONS/LGCB at Sheppard Air Force Base near Wichita Falls.
