Fort Worth’s DynCorp International Wins $10.5 Military Contract Change

Texas Business reports: A Fort Worth firm won a $10.5 million contract change for support of a military exercise in the Philippines, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

 DynCorp International LLC of Fort Worth received a $10,513,927 modification under a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract to exercise the fifth option period to provide services for Philippines operations support in the Republic of the Philippines for the Joint Special Operations Task Force - Philippines. 

The work to be performed provides for all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide support services. 

After award of this option, the total cumulative contract value will be $181,775,364.  

Work will be performed in the Republic of the Philippines, and is expected to be completed September 2012. 

Contract funds in the amount of $8,910,028 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. 

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, handled the contract.
