Grand Prairie's Lockheed Wins $15 Million Missile System Support Contract

Texas Business reports:  A Grand Prairie firm won a $15 million to provide support for U.S. Army missile systems, the U.S. Department of Defense.

Lockheed Martin Corp. of Grand Prairie, Texas, received a $15,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. 

The award will provide for the industrial engineering services in support of missile, rocket, and launcher systems. 

Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Feb. 2, 2014. 

The bid was solicited through the Internet, with one bid received. 

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. handled the contract.
