Houston's Flexible Lifeline Systems Wins $7.7 Million National Guard Contract


 Texas Business reports:  A Houston firm won a $7.7 million National Guard contract, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Flexible Lifeline Systems Inc. of Houston, Texas, received a $7,783,580 firm-fixed-price contract. 

The award will provide for the procurement of C-130 Isochronal Maintenance Stands. 

Work location will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2014. 

The bid was solicited through the Internet, with five bids received.

The National Guard Bureau, Arlington, Va., handled the contract.
