Texas Business reports: A Plano video entertainment firm is trying to tap into the holiday market with a Gamestop partnership.
Over 2010, the Wizard101 game card program grew into one of the most popular game card offerings on the market.
The cards, now available in over 40,000 retail outlets across the country, hook player/customers with a way to gain access to premium content within Wizard101.
KingsIsle Entertainment has partnered with leading games retailer GameStop to offer an exclusive "Epic Bundle" game card with an assortment of in-game items, including:
A massive fantasy palace - including personal dueling arena and minigame kiosk - which players can explore, decorate and show-off to friends

With a price point of $39, the "Epic Bundle" game card advertises it holds over $100 worth of in-game items and currency.
“We are thrilled to partner with GameStop to launch this new offering for our community,” said marketing vice president Fred Howard in a prepared statement. “We've added some fun twists and cool features to this bundle and I'm excited for our players to discover all of the hidden surprises.”
In Wizard101, players enter the Wizard City as student Wizards setting out to hone their skills, cast spells and summon powerful creatures to fight evil forces. The characters and worlds of Wizard101 are influenced by literature, history and pop culture.

New worlds, activities, pets and Wizard clothing are periodically added to the game for constant change.
