Mavenir Systems Names Hubert de Pesquidoux to Board of Directors

Texas Business reports: RICHARDSON—Mavenir Systems appointed Hubert de Pesquidoux to its board of directors.
Hubert de Pesquidoux has a long career in senior financial and operational management in the telecommunications industry. Since 2009, he has served as Chairman of the Board for Tekelec and on Tekelec's audit and corporate development committees.
De Pesquidoux is currently the chairman of the audit committee for Sequans Communications S.A.
“We are very pleased to welcome Hubert to our board of Directors," said Mavenir Systems chief executive Pardeep Kohli in a prepared statement. “Hubert's extensive background in the mobile infrastructure industry, proven leadership and corporate development abilities will be of immense help as Mavenir strives to provide solutions for mobile operators to transform their networks to LTE.”
De Pesquidoux is the former chief financial officer (CFO) of Alcatel-Lucent and president of its Enterprise Business Group. Prior to those roles, he was a member of the Alcatel Executive Committee.
During his nearly 20-year tenure at Alcatel-Lucent SA (and its predecessor, Alcatel), de Pesquidoux's executive positions included president and CEO of Alcatel North America; chief executive officer (CEO) of Alcatel Canada; and CFO of Alcatel USA. He joined Alcatel in 1991.
“I am excited to join the Mavenir team at a time when its mobile infrastructure solutions are being utilized more and more by tier-one operators in the global marketplace,” said de Pesquidoux in a statement. “I look forward to contributing my knowledge and experience to support Mavenir in its future endeavors.”
De Pesquidoux received a master's degree in law and a master's degree in business from the Institute for Political Studies (Sciences Po) in Paris and a DESS in Finance from Paris Dauphine University.
