New Jersey Firm Wins $20.6 Million Fort Hood Contract

Texas Business reports:  A New Jersey firm won a $20.6 million contract to provide logistical support at Fort Hood, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. 

Defense Support Services LLC of Marlton, N.J., received a $20,629,497 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. 

The award will provide for the services in support of the Directorate of Logistics at Fort Hood, Texas. 

Work will be performed in Fort Hood, with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2013. 

One bid was solicited, with one bid received. 

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Fort Hood, Texas, handled the contract.
