Pinnacle Propane Completes the Name Change of Conway Oil Company

Texas Business reports: IRVING—Pinnacle Propane LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of JP Energy Partners LP, completed the final stage of integrating its 2011 acquisition of Conway Oil Company by changing the name to Pinnacle Propane.

Located in Clovis, Ft Sumner, Santa Rosa, Logan, and Tucumcari, New Mexico this was Pinnacle Propane’s sixth acquisition in the propane industry, and second acquisition in the refined fuels industry, further expanding the partnership’s geographic presence in Eastern New Mexico and West Texas.

By uniting the Conway Oil operation with one of the leading propane companies, Pinnacle Propane became one of the largest distributors of propane in Eastern New Mexico. Going forward customers will see the Pinnacle Propane brands throughout the entire New Mexico service area.

“Our customers will continue to see the exceptional service provided by Conway Oil under the Pinnacle Propane brand as we bring together these two outstanding service oriented companies,” said Pinnacle Propane president Christopher Hill in a prepared statement.

“These combined operations make Pinnacle Propane the leading propane and refined fuel provider in Eastern New Mexico,” Hill said. “With our scale, product offerings and dedication to safety, Pinnacle Propane provides an unmatched level of service and reliability to the community.”

JP Energy Partners was formed in 2010 to focus on opportunities to acquire and consolidate retail propane operations, midstream crude oil assets and refined product storage and transportation related businesses in the midstream sector.
