Round Rock's Dell Federal Wins $21 Million Army Contract

Texas Business reports:  A Round Rock firm won a $21 million contract to provide equipment to a science engineering department, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Dell Federal Systems of Round Rock, Texas, received a $21,048,440 firm-fixed-price contract. 

The award will provide for the procurement of hardware to support the life-cycle replacement program under the direction of the Science Engineering Center. 

Work will be performed in Round Rock, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 20, 2012.  Six bids were solicited, with six bids received.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg, Miss., handled the contract.
