Round Rock's Dell Wins $21.9 Million Military Hardware Contract

 Texas Business reports: A Round Rock firm won a $21.9 million contract to provide hardare for military science research, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Dell Federal Systems, Round Rock, Texas, received a $21,997,612 firm-fixed-price contract.  \

The award will provide for the procurement of hardware to support the life cycle replace program under the direction of the Science Engineering Center at Fort Lee, Va. 

Work will be performed in Round Rock, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 30, 2012. 

The bid was solicited through the internet, with three bids received.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg, Miss., handled the contract.
