San Antonio’s AMG-S&P Wins $38.5 Million Army “Readiness” Complex Contract

Texas Business reports:  A San Antonio firm won a $38.5 million contract for a Fort Hood “readiness” complex, according to the U.S. Department of Defense.

AMG - S&P JV of San Antonio, received a $38,503,000 firm-fixed-price contract. 

The award will provide for the design and construction of an operation readiness training complex. 

Work will be performed in Fort Hood, Texas, with an estimated completion date of June 24, 2014. 

The bid was solicited through the Internet, with 21 bids received. 

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas, handled the contract.
