San Antonio's Labatt Wins $56.1 Million Government Food Contract

 Texas Business reports:  A San Antonio firm won a $56.1 million contract to provide food for the U.S. govnerment, the U.S. Department of  Defense announced.

Labatt Institutional Supply Co., San Antonio, Texas, received a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity, prime vendor contract with a maximum $56,154,296 for full line food distribution. 

There are no other locations of performance. 

Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, federal civilian agencies, and the Coast Guard.

 There was one solicitation with one response. 

Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds. 

The date of performance completion is May 10, 2013.

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., handled the contract.
