Sugar Land's Wynnewood Energy Wins $161 Military Fuel Contract

Texas Business reports:  A Sugar Land firm won a $161.4 million contract to supply fuel to the military, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.

Wynnewood Energy Co. LLC of Sugar Land, Texas, received a contract which is a fixed price with economic price adjustment, indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract with a maximum $161,428,730 for fuel. 

Other locations of performance are in Oklahoma. 

Using service is Defense Logistics Agency Energy. 

There were twenty-seven responses to the web solicitation. 

Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 Defense Working Capital Funds. 

The date of performance completion is Sept. 30, 2013.

The Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Va., handled the contract.
