 Tourist Traps. Some are absurdly large. All are monuments to the bizarre notions of the human spirit.

Stonehenge II.  North of Hunt on Farm-to-Market 1340.  It’s slightly smaller than the United Kingdom’s Stonehenge.

The Giant Killer Bee.  Sits in front of Hildago city hall. Commemorates where killer bees crossed the border and entered the United States in 1990.

 The Eiffel Tower With Cowboy Hat. Paris, Texas. It has a cowboy hat on top. On the corner of Jefferson Road and South Collegiate Drive. Paris bills itself as the second largest Paris in the world.

World's Second Largest Fire Hydrant. Beaumont.  Corner of Main and Mulberry.  Soon to be the world’s third largest fire hydrant if a man in West, Texas, has his way.
