Texas Business reports: Three San Antonio firms and a Hawaii firm won a share of the right to bid for potentially $99 million in orders for military dental services, the U.S. Department of Defense announced.
MEDTEMPS Inc., InGenesis Arora Dental, The OMO Group Inc., all of San Antonio and Kuhana-Spectrum Joint Venture of Aiea, re each being awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple task order contracts for multi-disciplinary dental services in support of military treatment facilities/dental treatment facilities in the Southeastern United States.
Total estimated value of the contract if all task orders are issued is $99,759,294.
This contract consists of a 60-month ordering period.
Work is to be performed in Jacksonville and Pensacola, Florida (50 percent) and Camp LeJeune, North Carolina (50 percent), and work is expected to be complete May 2016.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.
This requirement was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with 26 offers received.
The Naval Medical Logistics Command, Fort Detrick, Maryland handled the contract.
