Virginia Gambale Joins Board of Directors of Rev Worldwide

Texas Business reports: AUSTIN—Rev Worldwide, a payments processing and marketing services company focused on product innovation for underserved markets, announced that Virginia Gambale has been appointed to the company's board of directors.

Gambale has served on public and private boards of more than 20 companies.

Currently Gambale is an independent director of Jetblue Airways Corporation and a managing partner of Azimuth Partners LLC, a strategic and advisory firm in the field of technology and data communications solutions.

Prior to starting Azimuth in 2003, she held senior management positions, including CIO, at Merrill Lynch, Marsh & McLennan, Bankers Trust- Alex Brown, and Deutsche Bank.

In 1997, she was named one of the top three CIO's on Wall Street.

“The vision, technology and product platform this company is developing to deliver impact-driven financial service programs across the world is very exciting,” Gambale said in a prepared statement.

Gambale's appointment to the Rev board of directors follows last year's addition of Morgan Stanley former chairman John Mack to the board.

Rev is headquartered in Austin, Texas and operates in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and is a member of the MPOWER Ventures.
